"INTRINSIC MOTIVATION"
These words mean the desire to work towards something for personal gain- not for anything like a prize, a monetary incentive, etc. To be intrinsically motivated means someone driven to want to do something because they are motivated from within themselves.
This is a rare quality to have, but I sincerely admire those that possess this trait.
For those of you out there that wish to pursue academic excellence through intellectually challenging yourselves, Gunning Bedford offers its "HONORS PROJECT". It is open to any student willing and intrinsically motivated to extend themselves academically.

WHO KNEW A TISSUE BOX WOULD EVER COME IN HANDY AFTER IT IS EMPTY?
Well, with our third marking period Project, get them out of the recycling bin and put them to use!
Click on the Tissue box to learn more....
You will be researching the components of what make up everyday items- we want you to look deeper inside of what typical everyday tools or devices are made from. You will choose an object or everyday item to learn about: like a cell phone, nail polish, Athletic shoe, or hairbrush.
You will investigating the PROPERTIES of the materials that your object is made from and then explain WHY those properties are used for that item.
Now, what about the tissue box? well you present your information on each side of your tissue box!
DECORATE IT! Make it creative!
