The water cycle is similar to the water treatment plant because they both share the same ultimate goal, purifying the water we drink. They are different though because they have different ways to do it. the water cycle uses natural ways to clear water but the treatment plant is not natural. That is how the water cycle and the treatment plant are similar but ultimately different.

I agree with you because it's a landfill and that is where everyone's trash goes.

Ohio ranks the most polluted rivers in the united states. Over 174 million pounds of trash and chemicals were released into Ohio rivers. The water in this area is most likely affected because, the water treatment cycle might not have worked as well because of the amount of trash dumped into the rivers.

The Delaware river is so bad 85% of fish can't thrive. what caused this pollution? Humans. Us people don't care about our environment, we just throw trash everywhere! This can affect out water system because the amount of trash being thrown in there can most likely disrupt our system completely.

I agree with you because, I think that many fish will die out.

I agree with you because people are to lazy to find a trash can to throw their trash out, so they just throw it in rivers on the road and other places which causes pollution.

I agree with you because people don't care where they put their trash so animals get because of that

Delaware City PVC is polluted. Some chemicals caused it to get polluted. I think that the water in that area become very dirty with trash.

The water cycle and water treatment cycle are both similar and different/ They are similar because they both clean or purify water, so it is potable. They are different because the water cycle uses natural proceeses or ways and the water treatment cycle uses chemical processes or ways. That is how they are similar and different.

(redo) An area in Delaware that is the most polluted is "the Delaware River". Since "the Delaware River" is the largest river in Delaware, a lot of trash is going into that river. The trash has a better advantage or chance to go in that river because (like I said before) that river is the largest out of all the rivers in Delaware. The nasty trash that is put in the water can make the water dirty which is not good for are environment.

(extra) The water cycle and the water treatment process are both alike because they both use techniques to complete a job. The difference between them is that the water cycle shows how the water travels and the water treatment process shows how you clean or treat water.

Great comment, Tobias . Unfortunately the water cycle is not able to separate some water from chemicals . That's where you get acid rain from

TYBOUTS CORNER LANDFILL, NEW CASTLE County, DE
In the overall rating it was 50% worse then the national average and on top of the scale for Delaware. The water surrounding it ground and surface and air have these chemicals in them. It had arsenic, barium, benzene, cyclohexane, dichloromethane, ethylbenzene, lead, toulene, trichlorofluoromethane, vinyl chloride, and volatile organic compounds. info courtesy of http://scorecard.goodguide.com/env-releases/land/site.tcl?epa_id=DED000606079

A hydrologist studies water and they make around $51,000 a year. I wouldn't really want to be a hydrologist because i am not that interested in water and the sallary is too low.

Lukas , with your ingenuity , I bet you could convince a company to pay you whatever you wanted to get paid. I understand you might not be interested in studying water : that's fair . It is important to at least know the effects humans have on our water and why it is and will be an increasingly more valuable resource as you get older
